German Hard Rock band BONFIRE for a couple of decades has been one of the busiest touring bands and consistently also is a regular guest at numerous big European Metal festivals. On August 4, 2018 the Ingolstadt based group once again set a highlight performance at the world’s biggest Heavy Metal festival: Wacken Open Air. The show in Wacken was filmed and will now be released on June 14, 2019 as DVD, as CD, as LP and digital under the name Live On Holy Ground 2018

Bonfire (originally Cacumen) is a German heavy metal band, founded in Ingolstadt, Germany in 1972 by Hans Ziller. In 1986, based on the advice of the record company and the management, the band changed its name to Bonfire. The original founder Hans Ziller is still in the band and is the only one who has the rights to the Bonfire name. 2016, Bonfire celebrated their 30th anniversary and a new Double album entitled Pearls was released on UDR/Warner on the 18th, March, 2016. This recording featured past band hits that were re-recorded. At the beginning of July it was announced that Reece and the band had mutually agreed to part ways.
