From a very young age, it was apparent that Delroy Wilson was a special talent. His ability to translate the styles of . soul singers like Bill Withers into a Jamaican context helped usher in the rocksteady and (at times, anyway) lovers rock scenes. And if that weren't enough, his youthful good looks helped propel him to a level of stardom almost unparalleled at the time. Fans of the more soulful side of rocksteady (Slim Smith, Alton Ellis, Ken Boothe) should find this LP very rewarding, as Good All Over includes some of the best material of the genre.
