I have always had Various Artist listed in the album artist section for soundtracks and the actual artist if it was a compilation by one artist. However, within the last 2 two weeks when I view "Artist" in the Playlist tab, I get a long list for Various Artists which used to be complied together via whatever soundtracks, etc. they're on.
