Good Feeling is the debut studio album from Scottish alternative rock band Travis. The album was originally released on 26 September 1997, on Independiente Records. In 2000, the album was re-released, with the only differences being new album artwork and a slightly-tweaked version of "More Than Us". The album itself has a much more up-beat and 'rockier' sound than their subsequent releases, and is often regarded as one of their best.

That approach can keep their conventional aspects entertaining, but what makes Good Feeling a successful debut is that Healy can write hooks, whether it's the anthemic "All I Want to Do Is Rock" or the stompy "U16 Girls. There are several slow spots on Good Feeling that illustrate how the group's sound has its limits, but it's a promising debut that establishes Travis as one of the better British trad rock groups.

The style of "Good Feeling" got left behind by Travis, but their debut remains a solid Britpop album that mixes solid powerpop with exquisite ballads. Travis is best known for being one of the most downbeat Britpop bands in existance, and they've certainly earned that reputation. But don't expect quite the same melancholic pop sound in their debut "Good Feeling. It's Brit-pop, all right - happy rock, depressed rock, evenly divided between melancholy and joy. It doesn't have the musical polish of their later efforts, but it does have the infectious exuberance of a young band.
