Simon Stokes, the crazy hard Psych rocker par excellence, grandson of big band leader Harry D. Stokes, was known as a loner, sleepwalker, and fan of the classic monster movies his grandfather loved. As a teenager, Stokes became obsessed with the Blues and R&B via the legendary DJ Symphony Sid. Beginning in 1965, Stokes recorded a number of 45s in LA as the Flower Children and Heathen Angels

Paroles de Voodoo Woman par Simon Stokes & The Nighthawks. Every time I leave, I don't know why my heart begins to break Tell me where you're hiding your voodoo doll 'cause I can't control myself, I don't wanna stay, I wanna run away but I'm trapped under your spell. And it hurts in my head and my heart and my chest, And I'm having trouble catching my breath. Ooh Won't you please stop loving me to death? Report a problem. Writer(s): Randall Keith, Simon T. Stokes. Aucune traduction disponible. Ajouter une traduction.
The 2:00 version of Voodoo Woman in this album is not the original Elektra 2:20 charting version. Except for A3 (Hank Williams) and B4 (Leiber-Stoller) all sides were written by Stokes and Keith. That MGM album is the one you see here reformatted for CD in 2007 by Rev-Ola of the . with nice remastered sound by Joe Foster and Nick Robbins and liner notes by Matthew Smith. Unfortunately it’s out of circulation and now demanding ridiculous prices.
