Joseph Raymond "Ray" Conniff (November 6, 1916 – October 12, 2002) was an American bandleader and arranger best known for his Ray Conniff Singers during the 1960s. Conniff was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, and learned to play the trombone from his father. Thanks for the Memory is a 1938 film starring Bob Hope and Shirley Ross, and directed by George Archainbaud. The song appeared on the American version of the 1974 album Slade in Flame, which was released via Warner Bros. The song was originally titled "Here's To Your Health, Here's To Your Wealth".
