Anders Erik Birger Eliasson (3 April 1947 – 20 May 2013) was a Swedish composer. Eliasson was born in Borlänge. His "earliest musical experiences originated from within myself: they were my own singing, and familiar tunes I heard on the radio. Marching his toy soldiers up and down, he used to imagine sounds, learning only later to describe them as an orchestra.

Lars-Erik Larsson (15 May 1908 – 27 December 1986) was a Swedish composer. Lars-Erik Vilner Larsson was born in Åkarp in 1908, the son of a factory worker and a nurse. Lars-Erik Vilner Larsson (15 May 1908 - 27 December 1986) was an important Swedish composer of the 20th century. He was born in Aakarp. He studied with Ellberg at the Stockholm Conservatory (1925-1929) and with Alban Berg and Reuter in Vienna and Leipzig (1929-1930), then worked for Swedish radio and taught at the Stockholm Conservatory (1947-1959) and Uppsala University (1961-1966).

Lars-Erik Larsson: Orches. has been added to your Cart. Along with Dag Wirén, Larsson currently continues to number among the most popular composers of classical modernism in Sweden. Their popularity of course is explained in part by the fact that both continued to abide by the tradition of tonality without being epigonic reactionaries. His Symphony No. 1, written in 1927, is the centerpiece of the album. This four-movement symphony is a youthful work, full of excitement and high spirits. And yet it's also tightly constructed, with clear-cut melodies and masterful (albeit straight-forward) orchestration.
