Minnesota Blues (02:06) Personnel: Jimmy Page (guitar), Robert Plant (vocals), John Paul Jones (bass, keyboards) John Bonham (drums). Don’t let the Minnesota Blues or the Live in Duluth on this album cover fool you, Led Zeppelin never performed in Duluth. But what is the story behind this Zep bootleg? Setlist. The track list on the album, however, does not match well with the Liverpool set list

Led Zeppelin is the debut album by English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was released on 12 January 1969 in the United States and on 31 March in the United Kingdom by Atlantic Records. The album was recorded in September and October 1968 at Olympic Studios, London, shortly after the band's formation. It contains a mix of original material worked out in the first rehearsals, and remakes and rearrangements of contemporary blues and folk songs

Led Zeppelin - Minnesota Blues (Mess of Blues). I think Elvis would approve of this cover for I know Jimmy and Robert approve of Elvis's "Mess Of Blues".

Led Zeppelin’s take of the song was part on their monster 1975 double record Physical Graffiti and is dominated by Page’s otherworldly slide guitar work. The No. 1 song on our list of Top 10 Greatest Led Zeppelin Blues Songs might be their most melancholy of all. Released in 1970 on their third record, "Since I’ve Been Loving You," as so many blues songs do, tells the tale of a hard-working man and a up-to-no-good cheating woman who has caused him to lose his worried mind

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III (1970).

Led Zeppelin had a fully formed, distinctive sound from the outset, as their eponymous debut illustrates. Taking the heavy, distorted electric blues of Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, and Cream to an extreme, Zeppelin created a majestic, powerful brand of guitar rock constructed around simple, memorable riffs and lumbering rhythms. But the key to the group's attack was subtlety: it wasn't just an onslaught of guitar noise, it was shaded and textured, filled with alternating dynamics and tempos. As Led Zeppelin proves, the group was capable of such multi-layered music from the start.
