Rockingham, Nerf Herder’s fifth full-length album, was released on March 11th, 2016. The band funded the album from fan donations through PledgeMusic. Nerf Herder’s first album in eight years, Rockingham fits comfortably into the rest of the band’s discography. This is probably due to long-time collaborator Angus Cooke, who resumed his role as producer. Parry Gripp, the band’s primary songwriter explained why he asked Cooke to produce: I felt like I kind of lost my ‘Nerf Herder voice

Nerf Herder is the eponymous debut album by Nerf Herder, originally released in November 1996 and produced by Joey Cape and Ryan Greene. The album was released as two nearly identical versions by two different labels-both in 1996. The first version was released by independent label My Records (owned by Joey Cape from Lagwagon) as the label's debut album.

I am a nerd, was a loner when outside of my circle of close friends in high school, and essentially, a punk rock loser. Still am I guess, though I did snag an awesome wife somehow. Me and my school band and orchestra geek friends would go out skateboarding to NH’s self-titled debut in the mid 90s, and I had the My Records (Joey Cape’s short-lived label) version from ‘96. The album was rereleased on Arista in ‘97 and ended up being their only major label album. Rockingham, their first record in 8 years, is their best and most consistently funny record since How to Meet Girls.
