BROWN ANGEL Vomitter CASSETTE (Lost Tundra Recordings) So far, this is the only release from this vile squad of mutants from the nuked-out side of Pittsburgh; the band might include members of Conelrad and Microwaves, but none of their other affiliations hint at the sonic scum that they create as Brown Angel.

The Angels is the first album by Australian hard rock band, The Angels, which was released in August 1977. It was produced by Vanda & Young (The Easybeats) at Sydney's Albert Studios. It included a re-recorded version of their debut single, "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again" (March 1976) and provided their second single, "You're a Lady Now", in July 1977. By the mid-1980s "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again" had developed a cult status with the audience responding with "No way, get fucked, fuck off!".

Notes

Initial release was in 2005 in an unknown edition dubbed to recycled tapes with the prior labels simply scratched out/written over in black ink. Some were defective and this intial release omitted the Arab On Radar cover. The 2010 re-release (hand-prepared when Brown Angel reactivated in late 2009) consisted of an edition of between 30 and 50 recycled cassettes, spray-painted in brown paint and with "Brown Angel/Vomitter" written on the front and "भूरा फरिश्ता" (band name in Devanagari script) hand-lettered on the reverse of each cassette. The re-release cover (pictured here) was printed in color.

The entire program was later released on bandcamp, with additional "daemos" bonus tracks (four-track demos of material that later appeared on "S/T"). This is available at http://brownangel.bandcamp.com/album/vomitter-daemos
