Gino Soccio is one highly talented man. He's innovative and adventerous with his music. I have all the cd's of his albums, but the one that gets played the most is Face To Face. Every track is fascinating and the beats are real smooth. I have to admit, I don't always get into long dance songs. With Mr. Soccio, it's a different story. I have no problem delving into his long tracks because they sound so amazing, especially when it comes to this particular album.

I agree with most people on this page, I had all or most of Goni Soccio's work after I heard "Try it out" on a pirate station in 1981 and bought the LP "Closer" (and some years later also some of his 12" singles such as "Turn it around" and "Human nature" (the rest I collected on tape as one did in those days,- also considering how ridiculously expensive those 12" singles often were , e.g. 20 guilders for "Turn it around"). So I actually did not expect too much from this album (thought I would have heard more of the tracks (besides "Remember") if they were really good. But I was pleasantly surprised when I played it. Imho there are no bad songs here and - dare I say - some might even deserve more fame than "Remember".
