Brian Hyland briefly followed Hamilton's lead with Country Meets Folk, but hedged his bets with the pop audience by putting the word "folk" in the title of what is mainly a country record. Brian also coached cross-country and track, leading and inspiring even more young people. In his spare time, he played traditional Irish music with a revolving group of fellow artists. His wonderful wife, Peggy, is multi-talented in her own right, and the two of them raised four extraordinary children: John, Patty, Nora and Charlie. Not surprisingly, each is an extremely bright and likeable person.
