RIP Dee Dee Bellson, the daughter of Broadway entertainer and singer Pearl Bailey and jazz drummer Louie Bellson, who died on July 4 2009 at her home in Charlottesville, Virginia, after a heart attack. Dee Dee, who was born in 1960, often travelled with her mother on tour. She later sang on recordings by Weather Report and Wayne Shorter.
