Four of the songs included here - "I Am Klaus Kinski (And This Is My Song)," "Cheese Fries," "(Everywhere I Look) I See Your Face," and "A Modest Proposal (For Laura Cantrell)"-were re-recorded in different arrangements on Elastic No-No Band's first studio album, My 3 Addictions.

The Story So Far – The Best Of is a compilation album by the English rock band Def Leppard. The album has similar tracklisting to previous compilations, however it is the first to include tracks from the band's recent studio efforts Songs from the Sparkle Lounge and Def Leppard as well as all three studio tracks from Mirror Ball – Live & More. On Record Store Day April 13, 2019, the band released volume two (disc two of the CD version) of The Story So Far.

Elastic No-No Band is an Anti-folk group based in New York City. Started in the mid-2000s, the band's name was initially just a pseudonym for its current leader and main songwriter, Justin Remer. Since 2005, Elastic No-No Band has also included pianist Herb Scher and t Preston Spurlock. In 2005 and 2006, the band would perform sporadically with Clint Scheibner, who would play a bass drum attached to his chest, as though he were in a marching band.

Elastic No-No Band (2004-2011) played songs about cheese fries and Klaus Kinski and manboobs. They played songs about love and sex and pain and stuff. Sometimes they were serious; often, they weren't. Major Matt has recorded and produced the majority of ENB's recordings. A great collaborator and a fantastic writer and performer on his own. His last solo album is excellent. This Machine Kills Purists Part III, Part 1: No More Ironing by Joe Crow Ryan. Joe Crow Ryan is one of the most inspiring performers I know. This album includes his big hit, "My Arrest," as well as a cover of Elastic No-No Band's "Manboobs.
