Them were a Northern Irish showband formed in Belfast in April 1964, most prominently known for the garage rock standard "Gloria" and launching singer Van Morrison's musical career. The original five member band consisted of Morrison, Alan Henderson, Ronnie Milling, Billy Harrison and Eric Wrixon. The group was marketed in the United States as part of the British Invasion.

Them were a formidable, popular group in their own right before singer Van Morrison went on to even greater fame. This Belfast five only produced two LPs and a potful of 7" singles during its ascendance in the molten heat of the British Invasion. At one of them, Frank Zappa even joined them on-stage. Clearly, Them's tough, heavily American blues captivated, a direct result of the vicious voice of Morrison. It was even more a weapon on this tougher-sounding material than it's been since he became a solo star.
There are a total of seven tracks in this album, through which BTS weaves together what they genuinely felt both within themselves and the ever-widening world around them. Through RM’s solo piece ‘Intro : Persona’, BTS asks the fundamental question: ‘Who am I?’. World-leading singer Halsey takes part as featured artist in the lead single ‘Boy With Luv feat. Halsey’ where BTS talks about how true strength and love come from finding joy in the little things in life and reaching out to the world
The first country album to sell a million copies featured many previously released songs by Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Tompall Glaser and Jennings' wife Jessi Colter. But unifying the songs under the theme of outlaw country - a concept gaining national traction - made this album a runaway hit. A big part of that was due to the perfect cover art, depicting all the singers as dangerous, wanted outlaws from the Old West. For her 1997 masterpiece, country singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams paints a detailed world of broken hearts in bar, overworked mothers and deferred dreams. The cover art goes a long way toward conveying Williams' vision of the American south as a place of lonely strength. The small home at the end of a dirt road isn't depicted as a middle-of-nowhere shack - instead, the lush colors of the landscape and the glowing porch lights give it a solitary dignity and homey allure.
King’s first album for the Stax label combines his hard, unflashy guitar playing with the sleek sound of the label’s house band, Booker T. and the MG’s. Hits such as Crosscut Saw and Laundromat Blues earned King a new rock & roll audience. 490. ZZ Top, ‘Tres Hombres’. 461. Public Image Lt. ‘Metal Box’. After the Sex Pistols imploded, Johnny Rotten reclaimed his real name – John Lydon – and started a bold new band.
