Probably the best album ever recorded by someone. Beggar's Banquet has some songs that, while great, aren't THAT good. I mean, I frigging LOVE songs like "Dear Doctor" "Factory Gril" etc. but they aren't songwriting masterpieces. In my opinion the best album by the stones and one of the best albums all time! Though the Stones are absolutely are absolutely one of the best ever bands ever, this is their only album which is perfect from the first to the last second. Let It Bleed is also good, but this is the Stones finest.

As the following list of Rolling Stones Albums Ranked Worst to Best makes clear, the Stones really are a band of wealth and taste. We’re not talking money or that iconic tongue logo; this is about the group's armload of album releases, dating back to 1964. There are a lot of them (24 by our method – more on that in a minute), and the vast majority range from pretty good to phenomenally classic. Even the bad Stones records manage to showcase a consistency, drive and tunefulness worthy of their creators

The first all-originals Stones album, it’s so classic-packed their reputation as sub-Beatles hopefuls never recovered. Calling out ‘Under My Thumb’ for misogyny is almost as old as misogyny itself, but it’s true – the song’s either rank sexism or unearned satire; still, its hip-waggling, lip-licking playfulness mean that, one way or another, that song, and this album, endure as classics. A masterpiece of bacchanalian liberation, ‘Exile on Main Street’ will battle with ‘Sticky Fingers’ for the Best Stones Album accolade until music goes out of fashion. Jagger’s smacked-out drawl sets the tone on ‘Rocks Off’, but its celebratory horns and jittery, euphoric riffs lead into a rock’n’roll record as adventurous as any since. As its makers pushed 30, ‘Exile’ is the sound of master songwriters deciding their time’s far from up. 1 ‘Sticky Fingers’.

The best moments on Dirty Work come when the atmosphere of intra-band animosity in which it was recorded is channelled into the music: One Hit (to the Body) and Winning Ugly fizz with nasty energy. Elsewhere, it’s lifeless, and the period production on Back to Zero has dated abysmally. Mick Jagger attempts to gussy up the Rolling Stones’ sound with samples and loops courtesy of trip-hop producer Danny Saber, and an intransigent Keith Richards responds by throwing Saber out of the studio. Results are as uneven as you might expect. 21. Voodoo Lounge (1994). More stripped down and straightforward than its predecessor, Steel Wheels, this isn’t a bad album, exactly, but it sounds as if hard work was involved, the product of craft rather inspiration: tough coming from a band that, at their best, made it all seem effortless. Also, it feels as if it goes on for about six weeks.
