Summerland is a CD of hopeful and cheerful minimalism from Mychael Danna and Tim Clément. This remarkable album is at least ten years ahead of its time. While lots of artists were creating deep and dark ambience and minimalism in this era, very few were creating bright minimalism. The atmospheres are pristine and gentle, and the pastoral imagery is serene and soothing.

Danna & Clement has been played on NTS in shows including Radio Jiro, featured first on 1 September 2014. Songs played include Lydian Lights and To The Land Beneath The Waves. Summerland is the fourth album by Australian hip hop band The Herd and was released on 24 May 2008. The Herd announced its new album in March 2008, in early May of that year the first single from the album, "The King is Dead", received radio airplay, it makes reference to Australia's change in government with John Howard being replaced after 11 years as Prime Minister by Kevin Rudd.
