Leaning towards a bolder, broader sound palette, Roberto Carlos' late 60s records are a breath of fresh air among the countless uninteresting releases the celebrated singer delivered throughout his extensive career. This album shows him in a slightly less gloomy and indulgent approach, as already shown in the cover. While many of his previous albums seemed to rely on his charming, seductive presence alone, this and a very limited selection of works during the end of that decade incorporated far.

This album is less expensive than most and has just ten songs. They are all very nice, some more than others, but when it played - "Perdona", it stopped me in my tracks. A little bluesy, very soft and quiet - and one of the most romantic songs I've heard Carlos write/perform. That song makes the entire album for me - another Roberto/Erasmos collaboration that hardly anyone outside of Latin America has ever heard.
