When Atmosfear released "En Trance" in 1981, jazz-funk ruled UK dancefloors. The British outfit's lauded debut album reflected this fact, brilliantly joining the dots between jazz-funk, soul, disco, jazz-dance and the soundsystem dub influences that were becoming increasingly prevalent in British music at the time.

ATMOSFEAR is a Progressive Metal, Progressive Rock artist from Germany. Since then, ATMOSFEAR has consistently played two and a half hour sets sharing the stage with progressive metal mainstays VANDEN PLAS, POVERTY'S NO CRIME, and EVERGREY.
