NBC Symphony Orchestra.

Orchestra: NBC Symphony. Conductor: Arturo Toscanini. Composer: Giuseppe Verdi, Arrigo Boito. Audio CD (August 17, 2007). Arturo Toscanini served as music director of both orchestras: the Philharmonic from 1926 to 1936 and the NBC from 1937 to 1954. Joining these two wonderful orchestras together for the special Red Cross benefit was quite an accomplishment. Warren's singing as the tragic jester Rigoletto is very powerful in this performance; it is he who discovers that his daughter, Gilda, has not only been seduced and abandoned but accidentally, fatally stabbed.

The Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi (Symphony Orchestra of Milan Giuseppe Verdi) is an Italian orchestra based in Milan. The orchestra refers to itself as La Verdi colloquially. The orchestra's primary residence is the Auditorium di Milano Fondazione Cariplo. Vladimir Delman founded the orchestra in 1993 as an independent, self-governing organisation. In 1998, a choir affiliated with the orchestra was established, the Coro Sinfonico Giuseppe Verdi di Milano.
