Believe is the twenty-second studio album by American singer-actress Cher, first released on October 22, 1998 by WEA and distributed in North America by Warner Bros. Following the failure of her previous studio album It's a Man's World, her record company encouraged her to return to the studio to pursue a new musical direction

I'd Rather Believe in You is the 13th studio album by American singer-actress Cher, released on October 1976 by Warner Bros. This album was a commercial failure and failed to chart. The album garnered no attention, and as such did not chart. Producer Michael Omartian attributed this to "a lack of promotion.

Cher lyrics - 314 song lyrics sorted by album, including "Believe", "If I Could Turn Back Time", "You Haven't Seen The Last Of Me. album: "I'd Rather Believe In You" (1976). Long Distance Love Affair I'd Rather Believe In You I Know (You Don't Love Me) Silver Wings & Golden Rings Flashback It's A Cryin' Shame Early Morning Strangers Knock On Wood Spring Borrowed Time. album: "Cherished" (1977). Pirate He Was Beautiful War Paint And Soft Feathers Love The Devil Out Of Ya She Loves To Hear The Music . Plane Again Dixie Send The Man Over Thunderstorm. album: "Two The Hard Way" (1977) (with Gregg Allman)

The album didn't sell and this was Cher's last album for five years. Released after her stint with Casablanca Records, where Cher had a career resurgence with the disco hit "Take Me Home" in 1979, this album combined the power pop influences heard in her "Prisoner" album with the slightly harder-rock edge from the "Black Rose" collaboration. Charles Koppelman was the executive producer of this project; he also was involved in the "Take Me Home" recording. Cher's eighteenth studio album is another one of a kind in my opinion. It of course came along at a time when she was not making big hits (with the exception of TAKE ME HOME 1979) but this album is essential for Cher fans. Standout songs and my favs are 'Rudy' 'I Paralyze' 'Back on the Street Again' and "Games' is also great!
