The first and best track alone sufficed to let me grow ever more interested in the album in total. It feels Black Metalish enough, yet lacks the pathos and old-timeyness of the scandinavian counter parts, which is a huge plus for me. Now excuse me, I have lyrics to read.

Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji (1892-1988) was born Leon Dudley Sorabji in Essex, changing his name as an adult to reflect his Parsi ethnic roots. Though he guarded his privacy ruthlessly, living much of his life in seclusion, Sorabji corresponded with several avant-garde composers as a teenager. At some point, he also banned public performances of his works, though he was persuaded to lift the ban in 1976.
