Raw Power is the third studio album by American rock band The Stooges. It was released on 7 February 1973 through Columbia Records. Though not initially commercially successful, Raw Power gained a cult following in the years following its release and, like its predecessor (1970's Fun House), is generally considered an influential forerunner of punk rock.

Perhaps one of the most ferocious albums ever recorded, the Stooges' third album deviated from their first two in a number of ways, perhaps most notably David Bowie remixed the album. It was released on February 7, 1973 by record label Columbia Contents. the most absurd situation I encountered when I was recording was the first time I worked with Iggy Pop. He wanted me to mix Raw Power, so he brought the 24-track tape in, and he put it up. He had the band on one track, lead guitar on another and him on a third.
