Redirected from Rammstein (album)). The untitled seventh studio album by German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein, also referred to eponymously as Rammstein, was released through Universal Music on 17 May 2019. Their first studio album in ten years, it is their first not to be produced by Jacob Hellner; it was instead produced by Emigrate band member Olsen Involtini.

Herzeleid is the debut album by Rammstein. It was released on September 25, 1995, and on November 24, 1998 in the US. The recordings started in Sweden, in the Polar Studios. The band stayed in that studio for one week, where they only recorded the drum tracks. After that, they moved to the private studio of their producer Jacob Hellner. Jacob would only work during the day in the weeks. So in the evenings and on the weekend, the band was alone.

Across Rammstein’s new album, whether on the explosive Tattoo, in the acoustic threat that lurks in Diamant, or the punchy, electronic Weit Weg, this quality is writ large. In truth, after 10 years Rammstein could have released anything and it would sell, or at the very least make enough noise to keep them in the spotlight. It speaks not only to their integrity but also to the mastery of their art that, from its forehead-slappingly simple cover to its most OTT moments that will scorch the skies live, this is a record made with care, craft, and nothing allowed in that isn’t just-so. It may seem an odd thing to praise a band as flamboyant as this for, but Rammstein know the value of quality rather than quantity. When they deliver, they still deliver the best.

This show was professionally filmed and was supposed to be the first Live-VHS-release of the band. This idea was scrapped, as several smaller incidents and mistakes happened as well as one bigger accident: During "Heirate mich", a burning beam saying RAMMSTEIN fell into the audience, hurting a woman - who wasn't severely injured, though. The band continued to play the song instrumentally, while Till was helping the crew and audience members. The VHS was later sent out to some Rammstein-Fanclub members as a christmas-gift, which is now a pretty rare and sought-after item.
