Odu is one of King Sunny Ade's most ambitious recordings, finding him drawing from his Yoruba traditions and contemporary African trends to create a rich, diverse album. Like many of his other records, there are layers of percussion and guitars that form infectious, percolating grooves, but there are also unexpected twists in the songwriting that makes Odu a rewarding listen for longtime fans.

Odu is a studio album by Nigerian Jùjú musician King Sunny Adé. It was released in 1998 on Mesa/Atlantic. Recorded at Dockside Studios, Maurice, Louisiana, it was produced by Andrew Frankel and features traditional Yoruba music. He described it as a "rich, diverse album". In 1999, the album was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best World Music Album category.
