Biography: Burn Season formed in 2001, and immediately gained the attention of several major record labels. They ultimately decided to sign with Elektra Records to what was rumored as an "obscenely" large deal. The band went to work recording their debut album with highly renowned producers Bob Marlette and Tim Palmer. However, during this time, many major record labels felt financial pressure, and Elektra was no exception. Ultimately, Burn Season were dropped, and their recorded album never saw the light of day. However, independent label, Bieler Bros. Records signed the band.
Burn Season was a hard rock, alternative metal band formed in 2001, in Jacksonville, Florida (US). Members: Damien Starkey (vocals), Kevin Renwick (guitar), Adam Silk (bass), Bobby Amaru (drums). Their album Burn Season was released on October 11, 2005 under the "Bieler Bros. Records" label after "Elektra Records" dropped them.
Burn Season went to work recording its debut album with renowned producers Bob Marlette and Tim Palmer - yet before it was even released, the band was dropped, and its Elektra debut never saw the light of day. Later, South Florida-based independent label Bieler Bros. Bieler purchased the rights to four songs from Burn Season's unreleased Elektra debut and added eight new ones. After a lengthy delay, Burn Season released its self-titled debut on October 11, 2005. CEO Jason Bieler, stated: This band clearly had the talent and the songs to be huge.
Burn Season’s first cd ‘Burn Season’ was released 11 October 2005 under the label ‘Bieler Bros. Initially, the album was meant to be released under ‘Electra Records’, but due to financial difficulties, this was proven to be impossible. The first time I heard this cd, I was hooked. It sounded great, especially songs like perfect and closer do a great job on increasing the album’s alluring sounds.
