The Super Guitar Man Les Paul doing a great instrumental of the Little Rock Getaway. You can recognize his unique style from the very start of the song. So very smooth are the notes he plays, it's no wonder Gibson gave him his own signature model. The flip side to this is The Tennessee Waltz with Mary Ford, another classic that I'll post after this one. Enjoy!
Текст песни: I was dancing with my darlin' to the Tennessee Waltz When an old friend I happened to meet. I introduced her to my darling, and while they were dancing, My friend stole my sweetheart from me.

Les Paul (born June 9, 1915 - August 13, 2009) was best known as a skilled guitarist, and as one of the most important figures in the development of modern electric instruments and recording techniques. He was a pioneer in the development of the solid-body electric guitar (the Gibson Les Paul, which he helped design, is one of the most famous and enduring models), multitrack recording, and various reverb and echo effects.
Paul had hosted a 15-minute radio program, The Les Paul Show, on NBC Radio in 1950, featuring his trio (himself, Ford and rhythm player Eddie Stapleton) and his electronics, recorded from their home and with gentle humor between Paul and Ford bridging musical selections, some of which had already been successful on records, some of which anticipated the couple's recordings, and. many of which presented re-interpretations of such jazz and pop selections as "In the Mood", "Little Rock Getaway", "Brazil", and "Tiger Rag".
