Gotti is a somewhat unlikely collaboration between Weezy and two-thirds of The LOX in Jadakiss and Styles P. Surprise or not, the track is a strong one as Wayne especially sounds razor sharp as he spazzes out toward the end of the track. While it remains to be seen how this two-part Carter V works out, Gotti is definitely a step in the right direction. Check out the track below and let us know what you think.

Lil Wayne’s new album Tha Carter V was supposed to come out today, but it’s not. It’s not coming out because Lil Wayne has been really into skateboarding. That, and he’s got too many damn songs. He’s got so many songs that he can’t cut them all down to one album in time, so he figured out a way to drop it in separate parts. The first part of Tha Carter V album drops December 9. Lil Wayne seems to be building up hype for Tha Carter V, having recently featured on Nicki Minaj’s Only, and now he’s back with a track of his own. Dubbed Gotti, The Lox, comprised of Yonkers heavyweights Jadakiss and Styles P, kick off the track before Weezy comes in and recounts his own growth as a rapper.
