Alexisonfire is the first studio album released by the post-hardcore band Alexisonfire. It was released on October 31, 2002 and recorded when members Chris Steele, Wade MacNeil and Jesse Ingelevics were only 17 years old, with Dallas Green being the oldest, being 21 at the time. In August 2009, the album was given platinum certification as it sold over 100,000 units in Canada.

Crisis is Alexisonfire's third studio album, and the follow-up to Watch Out!. Crisis is one of Alexisonfire's most successful albums. This is the first album to feature Jordan Hastings on drums, replacing founding member Jesse Ingelevics.

For some reason these producers think that every remastered album needs to have the volume artificially increased. The drumming on most tracks completely dominates every other layer and will have you straining your ears to hear Dallas or Wade. Dallas' vocals have been given some reverberation to them which I find completely unnecessary and distracting.

Alexisonfire’s self titled album is getting to be four years old now but I still remember it like anything else that has impacted my life with grace. I was in Tower Records when I was still in high school and I remember hearing about this band from one of my friends (actually on this site) but I didn’t really know what type of music to expect from them. The album was wrapped in it’s plastic packaging and featured a cardboard cutout case with it’s infamous catholic school girl stand off cover.

Alexisonfire had become an official part of Vagrant’s roster by summer 2006, performing on their Warped Tour side stage and releasing explosive full-length number three, Crisis, that August. The guys then hit up the Reading and Leeds festivals in the . prior to embarking on an extensive fall tour of Canada. Fourth album Old Crows/Young Cardinals was unsurprisingly a hit in Canada upon its release in 2009, and it also earned the band their highest chart position in the . An experimental EP titled Dog’s Blood followed in 2010. By the end of the year, however, Green had decided to leave the band.
