It was released in 1978 and includes the hit singles "Hold the Line", "I'll Supply the Love" and "Georgy Porgy", all three of which made it into the Top 50 in the USA. You release your debut album, the self titled TOTO. A guilty pleasure of mine are the first two tracks, the instumental "Child's Anthem" followed by the driving, disco-ish (used here as a compliment) "I'll Supply The Love". The other songs that I havent mentioned are far from filler material, but they just dont grab me personally like those 6 tunes do. What you notice listening to the album over and over is that this is a group that isnt afraid to let the music talk instead of feeling that they have constantly have lyrics pouring out of the speakers to let you know what they're thinking. They play intricate melodies and dont shy away from opening the cd with the fore mentioned instrumental "Child's Anthem".
