Lady in Satin is an album by jazz singer Billie Holiday released in 1958 on Columbia Records, catalogue CL 1157 in mono and CS 8048 in stereo. It is the penultimate album completed by the singer and last released in her lifetime (her final album, Last Recording, being recorded in March 1959 and released just after her death)

Billie Holiday was recorded in February 1958 just 17 months ago, leaving the world a 44 year old masterpiece album The classic original album Lady in Satin in it's entirety. It marks Holiday's last big hit and her second to last album ever. Johnson, Urbie Green, Phil Bodner, Mal Waldron, Barry Galbraith, Milt Hinton and Don Lamond. As a bonus, five ballads from a 1955 session with Harry Edison and Benny Carter, the rare 1957 studio version of Fine and Mellow with Lester Young, Coleman Hawkins and Ben Webster, and Holiday's only two performances from the 1958 Jazz at the Plaza concert.
