The band got its start when singer and harmonica player Huey Lewis and keyboardist Sean Hopper hooked up with a Bay Area jazz-funk band called Clover. After Fore! the band declined in stature, and the lineup changed substantially. They recorded the theme song to the 2008 movie Pineapple Express. Popular Huey Lewis and the News songs.
