The Monochrome Set is a highly influential English post-punk/new wave band, originally formed in London in 1978. The most recent line-up consists of Bid, Andy Warren, John Paul Moran and Mike Urban. The Monochrome Set was formed in London in 1978 from the remnants of a college group called The B-Sides, whose members had included Stuart Goddard, later known as Adam Ant. Their first live gig was on 15 Feb 1978, at Westfield College in London

This is the Monochrome Set's final album, from 1995. As with all of their other 1990s era albums, "Trinity Road" features guitar whiz Lester Square, bassist Andy Warren, keyboard/guitarist Orson Presence and our lovable imp, Bid, also on guitar. They had even settled down to a stable drummer, Trevor Reidy. Trinity Road" includes some wonderful Monochrome moments such as the endearingly puling "I Love Lambeth" and the kick-off track "Flamen Dialis"-a great example of Monochrome Shadowesque guitar sculpture
