One is the second solo album by jazz keyboardist Bob James. It was an important album in the early smooth jazz genre and is famous for its end track, "Nautilus", which became important to hip hop as one of the most sampled tracks in American music. One of his childhood friends in St. Ann was Neville "Bunny" O'Riley Livingston. Bunny inspired Bob to learn to play the guitar. Later Livingston's father and Marley's mother became involved, and they all lived together for a time in Kingston, according to Christopher John Farley's Before the Legend: The Rise of Bob Marley. The title track draws an analogy between the biblical story of Moses and the Israelites leaving exile and his own situation. The song also discusses returning to Africa. Released as a single, "Exodus" was a hit in Britain, as were "Waiting in Vain" and "Jamming," and the entire album stayed on the . charts for more than a year.

The landing space for placing your needle is wider at one side of the album than the other. This was first noticed when using my auto drop on my Technics 1350, which landed and skidded into the first song. There is more than enough room for extras. That is my only complaint, and it's not even really a complaint as more of a wish.

I guess they pulled it to pieces for it& conceptional work - not being a "Hit Album" and the featured country musicians which were outdated in 1970. Just another example how hard critics can fail. Leonard Cohen most likely wrote the lyrics at first which is why they're good, yet no one notices that they are surreptitiously pro-government. Zimmerman's late-period adoption of an insufferable vibrato vocal style is his way of lampooning the past-the-sell-by date of his assignment since the anti-war movement and msuical art at large, has already been eviscerated and emasculated and real artists are virtually voiceless while an army of mind comtrolled ass kissers fomenting manufactured production are lauded as rebels.
