Kostas Martakis (Greek: Κώστας Μαρτάκης; born 25 May 1984) is a Greek singer, model, television host and actor, who rose to fame after appearing on Greek talent show Dream Show aired by Alpha TV in 2006. Following his participation, he released five studio albums and also participated in the Greek national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 and 2014.

The song was Martakis's entry in a three way race to be Greece's entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. He battled both Kalomoira and Hryspa for the spot, and the final decision was made on February 27, 2008 where Kalomoira won with "Secret Combination". M. apone-E released his first solo album in 2001 titled "Last Man Standing". in 2002 after signing a 3-year distribution deal with Thump Records, a partner of Universal Records.
