Features Song Lyrics for Musiq's Soulstar album.
Last night I had a dream Of a beautiful day And like a song An angel passed my way She was the embodiment of perfection With skin like the sky And her hair was as long as time Then she turned to me, yeah With her big proud eyes Her voice flowed like water And it brought a tear to my. eye Then she said to me. Soulstar, oh, you've come So far from where you started Don't be afraid To let your light Shine on the world. Soulstar" Track Info. Written By Musiq Soulchild.

Not a whole lot has changed in Musiq's world since releasing his second album in 2002 - if this really isn't the case, you wouldn't know it from Soulstar. He's still following in the tradition of his '70s-era idols, he's still taking liberties with the compoundwords for his song titles, and he's still making modern soul that's equally classy and absorbing.
