Description

Our third EP introduces the Ordinary Subject - title of the latest project of Alexander Siegel and Christian Scheel.

Something doesn’t sound right.

com ww. educed-records.

In classical music from Western culture, an augmented third (Play ) is an interval of five semitones. It may be produced by widening a major third by a chromatic semitone. For instance, the interval from C to E is a major third, four semitones wide, and both the intervals from C♭ to E, and from C to E♯ are augmented thirds, spanning five semitones. Being augmented, it is considered a dissonant interval. Its inversion is the diminished sixth, and its enharmonic equivalent is the perfect fourth.

Eclectic and in its usual Frieda attitude the Moments Like This EP< captures these snap-shots, transforming them perfectly into sound. The three original tracks, composed by Ordinary Subject, sweeten the party horizon with the right groove. Moments Like This< develops an unbelievable drive and with the piano play from Sacha Ketterlin reaches an incredible deepness. One gets totally into the unrestrained celebration mood with A Jimmy<, which rocks with guitar riffs from 50-51.

Where hi-def techno meets dubstep-infused low-end heft, this deadly, growling beast is taken from Kamikaze Space Programme's upcoming debut album, Dead Skin Cells. Fracture hops onto Alix Perez's 1985 Music with an EP that embodies the label's polyglot approach: music that bundles jungle, rave and contemporary drum & bass into something that almost topples over with forward momentum.
