The thing is, this is also a strong contender for cd of the year in the metal genre, equal to Orchid's "Sign of the Witch". The song "Legend' contains one of the heaviest, doomy riffs of all time.

Lore is the third full-length album by Elder and a watershed moment in the band's history. By giving equal credence to riffs and atmosphere, Lore bypasses genre constraints, the group's penchant for progressive songwriting and melody shining more brightly than ever.

Album (Studio full-length). Some of the recent stoner releases are quite solid, and Lore is easily one of them. The songs unfold and progress through time, so the songs aren't boring even though they're around 10 minutes each. Not to mention the cool stoner riffs enthralling the listener through a 1 hr journey.
