Hi guys I'm Dan and today I am going to show you my SHARK TOYS and Sea animals collection. I have lots of Great White Shark toys.

Everyone knows sharks and whales are different, but what exactly ARE the differences between sharks and whales? This article explains it all in a fun wa. Differences Between Sharks And Whales. So imagine that you’ve just arrived for a visit to Planet Earth. One of your Earthling friends offers to take you on a marine discovery adventure.

Killer whales (or orcas) are powerful predators capable of killing leopard seals and great white sharks. In the wild, there have been no fatal attacks on humans and only one reported bite. In captivity, there have been several non-fatal and fatal attacks on humans since the 1970s. Experts are divided as to whether the injuries and deaths were accidental or deliberate attempts to cause harm.

Why Killer Whales Attack Sharks. Those that say sharks are apex predators, that’s not the case, George Burgess, Director of the International Shark Attack File at the Florida Museum of Natural History told Gizmodo. As hard as it is to say it, the killer whales are a step above. A killer whale annihilates a great white. Large predators like the orca tend to go after prey animals that have a lot of rich blubber on their body, which means that most of the shark is unappealing as a meal. Certain parts of a shark, however, are appealing to killer whales

Second the killer whales echolocation abilities have a far greater range than the sharks ability to detect electrical impulses giving the killer whale an advantage in terms of early detection. Third killer whales hunt in large groups and use team oriented hunting strategies. Unlike the great white killer whales are able to isolate their prey from multiple angles and will work together to distract their prey while another killer whale sneaks up from behind or below to stun and immobilize the defensive shark. In addition to hunting sharks such as the great white killer whales have also been observed attacking other species of shark such as the mako shark and tiger shark.

May 3, 2017 - See a great white shark binge eat a dead humpback whale. Filmed off the coast of southern California, the shark feasted on the whale for more than 18 hours. Famous for their prowess as predators, little is known about their more docile scavenging behaviors. They have been observed regurgitating already eaten food to make room for more calorically rich meat. While sharks have frequently been observed hunting, scavenging is less often seen.

Whale sharks (Rhincodon typus) are the largest shark, and indeed largest of any fishes alive today. Whale sharks are found in all the tropical oceans of the world.
