Catherine Lara (born Catherine Bodet; 29 May 1945) is a French violinist, composer, and singer. Catherine Bodet was born in Poissy, near Paris, the daughter of a doctor (and amateur violinist). Her mother brought up Catherine, her sister, and two brothers in a musical household. Catherine started playing the violin at age 11 and entered the conservatoire at Versailles, leaving two years later with a first prize in 1966.
Catherine Lara, was born on May 29th 1945 in Poissy, France. She is a violinist and french singer, composer and producer. Catherine Lara nait Catherine Baudet le 29 mai 1945 à Poissy, dans la banlieue parisienne. Son père Fred est médecin, et à l'occasion, violoniste amateur. Sa maman, dite Mado, élève ses quatre enfants, deux garçons et deux filles. L'ambiance est très joyeuse à la maison où on écoute beaucoup de musique.
