But Midnight Moon is such an essential component to Sunwølf’s binary star system of albums that, along with Beyond The Sun, they behave like a double album. As with the debut, the heavier tracks come in the first half, but Midnight Moon simply sounds bigger. The production is crisper. The drums are louder, with more noticable fills and flourish.

With their debut record, ‘Beyond the Sun’, having been released just a matter of months ago you could be forgiven for expecting little in the way of development from Sunwølf on ‘Midnight Moon’. Thankfully, however, the latest in a series of highly promising Leeds based experimental bands have progressed quite noticeably on this release. Whereas ‘Beyond the Sun’ was generally characterised by its consistently gloomy temperament, ‘Midnight Moon’ sees the band move forward into a slightly more varied set of moods

Midnight Moon is a concert video by Train released on February 11, 2002. On May 26, 2001, the band returned to the band's hometown to play a sold-out gig at San Francisco's historic Warfield Theatre. They played in total, sixteen songs, mostly from their second album, Drops of Jupiter. Extras on the DVD include documentary footage, interviews with each of the band's members, a discography showcasing their first two albums, and a photo gallery.
