Текст песни: I’m feeling so tired can’t understand it Just had a fortnight sleep I’m feeling so tired, oh, so distracted Ain’t touched a thing all week I’m feeling drunk juiced up and sloppy.

Blue and Sentimental. This CD reissue combines together tenor saxophonist Arnett Cobb's two LPs, Sizzlin' and Ballads by Cobb. The former session has a good mixture of stomps and ballads with highlights including "Black Velvet," "Georgia on My Mind," and "The Way You Look Tonight. The latter date (originally cut for the Moodsville label) is all slow ballads and, despite the warmth in Cobb's tone, a certain sameness pervades the performances. Pianist Red Garland and drummer . Heard are on both sessions with either George Tucker or George Duvivier on bass

Blue and Sentimental combines two sublime November 1960 sessions - one after-hours ballad collection, the other a swinging affair - led by the booting tenor man Arnett Cobb (1918 - 1989). He's accompanied by two different trios led by fellow Texan Red Garland (1923-1984) who, like Cobb, gained international notice as a sideman (with, of course, Miles Davis in the 1950s; Cobb had been star soloist - "The Wild Man of the Tenor" - with Lionel Hampton in the '40s). And both men enjoyed fairly successful solo careers; stylistically, however they were polar opposites. Cobb phrased in staccato bursts and relied heavily on parched cries, grunts and heaving sobs, while Garland's piano flowed like a river to the sea. Yet Blue and Sentimental is a soulful proof that opposites attract.
