Trevor Jackson will release a second volume of Playgroup Reproductions on December 16th. Playgroup Reproductions Vol. 2 arrives nearly ten years on from the first instalment, which came out in 2004 on Peacefrog. Spread across two discs, it features a mix of previously released and unheard reworks of a wide range of artists, from '80s bands like Telex and Soft Cell through to hip-hop artists Common and Pharoahe Monch to '00s bands like Ladytron, Snow Patrol and Franz Ferdinand. Due out next week, the compilation will be limited to 500 CDs.

The music featured is a collection of reworked demos and unreleased recordings. A hedonistic mix of raw Disco, Dub, Funk, Dancehall.
