Another great album from Larry which was never released the way it was intended! Recorded in 1977 but not released until 1981 when Larry's contract with Word was about to expire - a wait which managed to put the delays with Stonehill's 'The Sky Is Falling' and Daniel Amos' 'Horrendous Disc' in the shade. Larry Norman was a trailblazer in the area of Christian music. He is attributed to be the first down the trail of Christian rock and in this album, the first in Christian blues. This album was a tribute Larry gave to his roots in the blues music he loved and that influenced his work when very young. It is an earthy, emotional, powerful retelling of Pilgrim's Progress in the blues genre.

Home at Last is an album of mostly new material by Larry Norman first issued in 1989. It was originally released as a two-LP album and included some live tracks. It was reissued in 1998 as one album together with the 1994 compilation Footprints in the Sand. The 2007 re-release of Home at Last contained only the studio recordings of the original issue.
