Description

Опубликовано: 7 мая 2009 г. Marillion - Fugazi track . of the album "Fugazi" (1984) - Fish, vocals - Mark Kelly .

Текст песни: Vodka intimate, an affair with isolation in a Blackheath cell Extinguishing the fires in a private hell Provoking the heartache to renew the licence Of a bleeding heart poet in a fragile capsule.

Fugazi is the second studio album by the British neo-progressive rock band Marillion, released in 1984. Produced by Nick Tauber, it was recorded between November 1983 and February 1984 at various studios and was the first to feature drummer Ian Mosley, following the dismissal of the band's original drummer Mick Pointer.

Marillion's 2nd Studio Album, Fugazi is a single album & was released in March 1984. This album was remastered in 1998. Standard Jewel case with CD booklet featuring Lyrics & original album art. Vinyl Version: Cut from the original vinyl production masters. Reproduced in 180g heavy weight vinyl with a gatefold sleeve featuring the original artwork.

Fugazi is a music studio album recording by MARILLION ( Rock) released in 1984 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. Each instrumentalist gets the chance to shine - but not through overt technical displays, rather through intense dark, light and colourful shading. This is musical painting - but not by numbers!

Formed in Aylesbury, England, in 1979, Marillion is arguably one of the most interesting and successful progressive rock bands of the '80s. Often considered one of the founders of the Neo-Progressive genre, the band released four albums between 1983-1987 that quickly gained a cult status within the demanding prog circuit. One year later the band released their highly anticipated second album titled "Fugazi". With a harder edge than its predecessor the album can be seen as "Script's" natural evolution.

After a rather disappointing debut, 'Fugazi' really sees Marillion start to become the band we all know and love. Not that I hated 'Script for a Jester's Tear' mind you, but I mostly found it to be a rather dull album, with all but one song failing to keep my attention throughout its duration. this is more like it!
