My Autumn Empire is the dream-pop and folk project of self taught t and producer Benjamin Thomas Holton, who hails from England’s landlocked Staffordshire. Benjamin crafted his solo sound whilst composing works as a founding member of accomplished post-rock experimenters Epic45 and combined those fundamentals with his inherent love of folk and classic pop. Especially enjoy the reference to Italian horror scores as I’m a big fan of the stuff Goblin did for Romero and Argento. A lovely day all round really; not at work, received a new synth, had a bracing walk across the fields and got some national airplay. I feel like I’m boasting a bit, sorry.
