Description

The discography of Guns N' Roses, an American hard rock band, consists of six studio albums, one live album, two compilation albums, three extended plays (EPs), 19 singles, nine video albums and 21 music videos. Guns N' Roses was formed in Los Angeles, California with an original recording lineup of lead vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Steven Adler.

Guns N' Roses is an American hard rock band formed in 1985 in Los Angeles, California. Their initial popularity was, in part, due to being considered the antithesis of the glam rock bands of the time, and their 1987 'Appetite For Destruction' became the biggest selling debut album in history. The band was founded by W. Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin', along with Tracii Guns, Rob Gardner and Ole Beich, with Axl Rose being the only constant member throughout the band's history.

1987 - Appetite For Destruction. 1991 - Use Your Illusion I. 1991 - Use Your Illusion II.

Guns N’ Roses had known what was coming. GN’R Lies had come with artwork satirising the tabloid press and was pointedly subtitled: The Sex, The Drugs, The Violence, The Shocking Truth. But the storm would rage on for years to come. When Guns N’ Roses appeared at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium on April 20, 1992 – an event to honour the Queen singer and to raise public awareness of AIDS and benefit AIDS charities – gay rights groups were incensed, although Rose was embraced by Elton John on the Wembley stage. With one song, Axl Rose could have ended Guns N’ Roses’ career.

It’s just, with Guns N’ Roses, you don’t go, ‘Oh, there is a plan, and it’s gonna be like this,’ because that’s not how it works. So, basically, the only real answer to give is we’re hoping to put a new record out, and we’ll just see what happens when it happens. In late 2018, after the Not in This Lifetime tour ended, Fortus told a St. Louis newspaper that a new Guns N’ Roses album could arrive faster than you think. While Guns N’ Roses’ reunion tour did not feature the debut of any fresh tracks, the first new Axl Rose song in 10 years recently appeared in an episode of New Looney Tunes.

Tracks from the former were recorded during the Use Your Illusion sessions and originally featured by-then-departed Izzy Stradlin. Replacement Gilby Clarke ended up recording over his parts before The Spaghetti Incident? was released.

Guns and roses are not dead, and they will never be, if they continue making such songs. Axl's singing is reminiscent of Welcome To The Jungle, but seriously, the chorus is the best Guns N' Roses chorus by a mile! THe only song on the new album that I can listen to. It is amazing how Axl was able to sing with different voices. Overall, The best of the new Guns N' Roses. Another killer song from Chinese Democracy. When this song was leaked, I realized that . was gonna be a legit Guns N' Roses album.
