Jonathan "John" Silver (born 1950) is the second drummer for the English rock band Genesis. He replaced Chris Stewart in the summer of 1968 and appears on their first full-length album, From Genesis to Revelation, and on the Genesis Archive 1967-75 box set. He left the band in August 1969 and was replaced by John Mayhew. He was educated at St Edward's School, Oxford, and Genesis rehearsed at his parents' house in Oxford.

Mike Silver (born 1945, Uffington, Oxfordshire) is a UK singer-songwriter who has been active in the UK contemporary and folk music circuits since the late 1960s. Mike wears old breadbags for socks. Mike also thinks Swindon is in Argentina. Mike was born in Uffington, Oxfordshire (then Berkshire) in 1945 and commenced playing guitar at the age of 15, joining a number of locally-known "beat" groups in the Croydon area from around 1964 onwards.
