Bandhada biography Guitarist Carlos CHUNG founded the first incarnation of BANDHADA in 1983 in Santiago, Chile. Backed by fellow students of Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile, they shaped music which was a mixture of jazz fusion and progressive rock close to CAMEL which was shown on their self-titled debut in 1984. In 1985, keyboard player Alfonso CARRERA FEELEY leaves the band to join a group called CINEMA, and for the better half of the 80's BANDHADA's music strays more in a quite sucesful pop direction which lasted up to 1991.

All instrumental, they used Fender Rhodes piano and synths, electric and acoustic guitar, flute, bass and drums. Sort of a surprising cross between Kenso II, Camel and Pat Metheny.
