The Movielife is a Long Island punk rock band composed of vocalist Vinnie Caruana, guitarist Brandon Reilly, and drummer Brett Romnes. However, you can't forget The Movielife. This album finds the band more or less picking up where they left off but fine-tuning to a more polished, radio-friendly sound (which comes as no surprise as they're under Rise). Because of singer Vinnie Caruana and guitarist Brandon Reilly's time apart, coming back together brings a ton of stories that really act as their most mature to date.
The Movielife is a pop-punk band from Baldwin, New York (Long Island). Formed in 1997, the band put out its first full-length, It's Go Time, in 1999 on Fadeaway Records. By this point, the classic lineup of Vinnie Caruana (vocals), Brandon Reilly (guitar), Alex Amiruddin (guitar), Phil Navetta (bass) and Evan Baken (drums) had coalesced.

The Movielife have announced their plans for a spring headlining tour to kick off 2018, in which the band will be doing something extra special for their fans. Forty Hour Train Back to Penn and The Movielife Has a Gambling Problem will be performed back-to-back by the band. The tour will kick off on March 15th in Brooklyn, New York and run across the . and Canada before concluding on April 20th in Amityville, New York. Travis Shettel of Piebald.
